Opening Times

Telephone Opening Times
Monday to Friday – 8:00 till 6.30

To obtain results of investigations, please telephone the surgery after 5 working days. If you could telephone after 2pm in the afternoon, this is helpful for the clinicians.

The Practice is Open
Monday to Friday – 8:30 till 6.00 (extended hours Monday evenings)

We offer an extended hours service to those patients who work & are unable to attend during normal working hours. Please ask at reception for details of our extended hours sessions.

Home Visits

These should only be requested by patients who are too ill to travel to the Practice. Home visits are not available as routine to patients who find it difficult to get to the Practice. They are only for urgent medical attention, for patients who would find it impossible to travel. On average, seeing you at home takes four times as long as seeing you in the surgery.

We would be grateful if you could phone before 10.30 am and give the receptionist as much information as possible. This helps the doctors plan their visits so that the most urgent calls are made first.

Out of Hours

When the Practice is closed, you can obtain urgent medical advice by contacting 111 Service – Telephone 111 or visit NHSDirect website (

This service is staffed by nurses and professional advisors, giving confidential healthcare advise and information 24 hours a day. A calls are charged at local rates.
